Coach Basnight, a devoted husband and father of three, is a proud product of Hillside High School in Durham, NC, and Campbell University, Coach Basnight boasts an impressive athletic background, winning the 1999 AAU National Championship and achieving two-time NCHSAA 4A state champion titles. His coaching accolades include leading teams to Tri-county 3A tournament championships and AAU national championship qualifications. With coaching stints at prestigious camps like Prep Stars and Duke Basketball, as well as heading the CFC Academy from 2009 to 2012, Coach Basnight brings a proven track record of success and expertise to our academy.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Cynthia is also the founder of In The Paint Academy, where she aims to provide more opportunities for young athletes. Through this initiative, Cynthia seeks to develop future adults by offering higher education and a mentorship program alongside athletic training.
